These caps may not seal as well as other Snap Caps and should be used with sample solvents with low volatility. Butyl Rubber with Tefzel is a lower cost Septa but inert enough for most applications.

Poly Crimp Seal, 11mm, Yellow Cap, PTFE/Silicone Septum. A crimp cap constructed of plastic that fits virtually any 11mm crimp sample vial. Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials.
